Give us the goal, and we'll find what to build.
Divine Company builds platforms.
Building a spec exactly as handed over is easier for both sides. We still settle what to build with you first.
We never say it is wrong. We show you what is landing right now, then ask whether it is worth trying.
No spec document needed. Write down what is settled and what is still open, exactly as it is, and we start there.
The first document we take is one line of goal.
The ones where we decided what to build
When a new channel did not fit the existing structure, we split the inside again instead of bending the channel. Adding one got slower by exactly that much.
The analytics on this very page came from that list.
Listings and orders across Naver, Coupang and 11st on one screen
Statlane (opens in a new window)
Ad spend joined to user behaviour, read per channel
Seabomi (opens in a new window)
Insurance agencies build their own lead list
Dasi-sseuda
Comics and writing turned into animation and video
musicadence
Music scored to a video, automatically
Auto-trading
Trading rules validated, then executed
They run on our side first, then on the work we take on.
We built the web they asked for. Then we built it again as an app.
Once it was built, the app was clearly the better answer.
It meant throwing away something already finished, so we did not want to raise it. But once it launches, it cannot be changed.
It went out a month late, and the screens it uses now would not exist on the web.
The screens in use now would not exist on the web.

You do not have to draw the whole platform at once. We map the order it opens in.
We listen first. Then we work out which of the five lines below it sits closest to.
Most of the time it sits across two. We find that overlap first.
Building past launch
one thing you already run, one quarter
AI agents, built and run
one judgement that keeps repeating
Commerce and marketing ops
one channel
Rebuilding what already runs
one screen
Foundations and nonprofits
the scope and figure that go into the proposal
The order gets settled first.
We are the ones who raise next quarter
Once it is in use, what to open next starts to show.
We write that up and bring it in, having looked at what is getting a good response in that industry lately.
So the contract carries a slot for the next quarter. When the quarter turns, the first question is what to open next. Nothing gets written from scratch again on your side.
What goes in is one quarter's worth, and the quarter after that gets settled at the end of it. Some quarters we agree to open nothing.
Our own system carries thirty-four alerts. All thirty-four say what to look at first. The person reading that does not have to be us. A backup passes only after a restore has actually run.
If the scope moves
- It gets settled again, then and there.
- The schedule and the cost are looked at in the same sitting.
- Word gets to you before the invoice does.
Some quarters we agree to open nothing.

It doesn't have to be decided yet.
One goal starts it. We narrow the rest together.
Anything you cannot show for security reasons can stay out. If something is already running, tell us about that first. If nothing is, we start from nothing.
The first thing we ask back is that. How far you want us on it. We read what you send and write back with what fits in one quarter. The contract starts after that.
This is the range we take on.
- We don't take on work where we build it and walk.
- Placing a person into your team isn't something we take on. That contract has no line in it for deciding what to build.
